Loyola Academy Degree & PG College organized an event called “SANKALP SE SIDDHI" which was taken by University Grants Commission (UGC) to create a New India which is free from poverty, corruption, terrorism and other vices that hinder the growth of our country from becoming a super power. The University Grants Commission (UGC) in association with Ministry of Human Resource & Development instructed all the institutions to take up New India Pledge to ignite patriotic spirit among the future citizens.
The event was flagged off by the Vice-Principal of UG Rev. Fr. Dr. L. Joji Reddy SJ, on 23-08-2017 in front of Inigo block and encouraged and motivated students by his inspiring message on India’s Independence. The head boy, Mr. Chekreeshwar led the students to recite a New India Pledge.
Let us together pledge that by 2022 we build a New India.
Let us together pledge towards a Clean India.
Let us together pledge towards a Poverty free India.
Let us together pledge towards a Corruption free India.
Let us together pledge towards a Terrorism free India.
Let us together pledge towards a Communalism free India.
Let us together pledge towards a Casteism free India.
The programme was concluded by the National Anthem. Everything was organized solemnly.
